Anniversary tour: 200 years Museumsinsel Berlin (in English)

From 2025 to 2030, Museum Island will celebrate its 200th anniversary – a very special occasion! During this one-hour tour in the fresh air, cultural mediators will provide a brief overview of the anniversary, the history of the building and the city, and the architectural highlights of Museumsinsel. The tour will always focus on the museum that is at the center of the respective anniversary year: first the Altes Museum in 2025 and then the Alte Nationalgalerie in 2026.
The tour takes place exclusively outdoors – perfect for getting new perspectives on Museumsinsel. A visit to the individual museums is not part of the program.
